Edna grew up at the Lightowler Homestead in New England Hollow (West Mifflin), Pennsylvania. On December 20, 1937, she had a daughter:
Nancy Jane Lightowler (m1. Richard Maty, m2. Adam O'Malley)
Edna married Harry Lehew sometime during the 1940s and the family moved to Pittsburgh.
Edna passed away October 25, 1974. She is buried in the Lightowler plot at Lebanon Church Cemetery.
