Louisa was the daughter of John Dunkel Deisher and Hannah Kohler.
She married on October 5, 1873, to Jacob S. Swoyer.
They appear in the 1880 through 1910 census of Maxatawny, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer.
In 1920 they were living in Kutztown, Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Patriot, Sep 26, 1946:
Mrs. Louisa (Deisher) Swoyer, one of the oldest residents of the East Penn Valley, died September 20th at her home on East Main Street, at the age of 91. She was the widow of Jacob Swoyer, who died in 1920. Six children, 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers survive. The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at her home, the Rev. J. W. Bittner officiating. Burial, in charge of George R. Schaeffer, was made in Hope Cemetery.
Her survivors are these children: Walter and Minnie, at home; Mrs. Clinton Braucher, Howard and Elton, Kutztown; and Jacob, Kutztown R. 1; And these sisters and brothers: John P. and Henry K. Deisher and Mrs. Eugene P. DeTurk, Kutztown. Charles Deisher, Kutztown R. D.; and Mrs. Hannah Wessner, Topton.
