Iva Elizabeth Williams, 90, of Delaney, Arkansas, died October 13, 2001 at her home. She was born July 25, 1911 at Japton, Arkansas, the daughter of Clarence and Rachel Shipp Haskins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Delaney Church of Christ. She was the widow of Carl Williams who preceded her in death in 1974. She was also preceded in death by one son, Curtis Williams in 1991 and by one brother, Garland Haskins.
Survivors include: three sons and four daughters-in-law, Ray and Emma Lee Williams of Japton, Arkansas, S.R. and Janie Williams of Huntsville, Arkansas, Harold and Jean Williams of Crosses, Arkansas and Dorothy Williams of Delaney, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Alta Jo and Lee Mounce of Delaney, Arkansas and Margie Combs of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers, Elmer Haskins of Huntsville, Arkansas and Albert Haskins of Sacramento, California; three sisters, Alta Faubus of Huntsville, Arkansas, Lenice Small of Clifton, Colorado and Golda Keith of Federal Way, Washington; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 15, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Tommy Glenn, Minister officiating. Interment was in the Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were: Chuck Burton, Kim Williams, Dave Ploudre, Steve Combs, Ronnie Williams and Jimmy Williams.
