Catherine Fay, age 88 of Pennsville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 29th. She was the daughter of Katie and Herbert Henderson of Quinton. Mrs. Fay was employed at the Custard Stand for many years, both in Salem and Pennsville. All of her life she loved to cook and bake. She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and went to many of their sporting events.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Fay, Sr. in 1967, brother, Herbert Henderson, sisters, Carolyn Headley, Helen Reeves, Anna Osborn, Margaret Thomas, Dorothy Danberry, Gertrude Seay, Ruth Henderson, Adelia Pataruschke and June Wolfe.
Survived by her son Charles A. Fay, Jr., of Pennsville, daughters, Ruth Herrmann and husband Howard of Pennsville and Ada Robbins and husband Frank of Carneys Point, sister Rye Myers of Carneys Point, brother Allen Henderson of New Providence, PA; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
