Mrs. Drusilla (Edward) Aitken passed away September 4 at the home of Mrs. G.N.
Severson in Durand where she had been cared for the past 11 months. Funeral
services were held at the Goodrich funeral home, with the Douglas K. Marks
officiating, and burial took place in Cascade cemetery.
Drusilla Lockard was born in 1874, daugther of Mr. & Mrs. W.D. Lockard of Nelson
and was married to Edward Aitken of Misha Mokwa, a blacksmith, 52 years ago. She
spent practically her entire married life at Misha Mokwa. Her husband died in
1940. Surviving are three children: Wallace Aitken of Lake City, Robert Aitken
of California, and Mrs. Reno Eagan of Wausau, WI.

DURAND
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Drusilla Aitken, 70, Durand, Sunday at
the Goodrich funeral home. Burial was in the Cascade cemetery. The Rev. D.K.
Marks of the Durand Methodist church officiated. Mrs. Aitken died Friday at the
Pepin County hospital at Durand after a long illness. She was born in Church
Valley, August 3, 1874 and was married to Edward Aitken in 1893. He died in May
1941. They had five children. survivors are: Wallace, Lake City, Robert,
Huntington Beach, CA; and Mrs. Reno (Viola) Egan, Wausau. Two daughters, Ruth
and Daisy, are dead. Other survivors are 17 grandchildren, 10
great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Edwin Hess, Nelson.
