He was born on November 21, 1912 in Chilton son of the late Martin and Magdalena Geiser. He married Bertha Eichorst on November 28, 1939 at St. Martin Catholic Church in the Town of Charlestown. She preceded him in death on September 12, 1997. He and his wife farmed all their lives in the Town of Charlestown. Arthur was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Knights.
He is survived by three children; Virginia (Brian) Fancher of Blairsville, GA, Rosemary (John) Lauerhaas of Grafton, William (Terese) Geiser of Kiel, 7 grandchildren; Christopher Fancher, Stewart (Karen) Fancher, Sarah (Tim) Polloch, Tammy (Albert) Cozzi, Jeffrey (Vera) Lauerhaas, Aaron Geiser and Nicole Geiser, 2 great-grandchildren; Julia Fancher and Michael Lauerhaas, 10 brothers and sisters; Arnold, Alvin, Alfred, and Gerald Geiser, Roger (Lois) Geiser, Loretta Keuler, Alice Geiser, Evelyn (Don) Konen, and Leona Schneider and a brother-in-law Paul Kees. He was preceded in death by a brother; Norbert Geiser, a sister; Viola Kees, and brothers and sisters-in-law; Madelyn, Marie, Marcella, and Shirley Geiser, Rueben Keuler, and Martin Schneider.
Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Monday September 26, 2005 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Charlestown with the Rev. Gregory Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
