Dirk Lammers passed away at his home at Sioux Center Thursday afternoon, after suffering for some time with stomach cancer.
His wife preceded him in death 9 years ago.
He leaves to mourn his passing his eight children; John of Orange City, Jane (Mrs. John Addink), Henry and Alice (Mrs. Arthur Franken) of Sioux Center, William of Sheldon, Hattie (Mrs. Bart Van Dongen) , Ralph, and Johanna (Mrs. Louis Klein), all of Sioux Center.
Surviving also are 3 sisters, Mrs. Evert Te Paske of Orange City, Mrs. G. Bekman of Bellflower, Calif., and Mrs. Dora Schut of Cherokee and a brother Wm. Lammers of Sioux Center.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Second Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Interment was made at Sioux Center.
