Mrs. Magdalen Niezgodzka, aged 58, of 614 Laporte avenue, died at 9:25 o'clock Sunday morning in St. Joseph's hospital following two weeks' illness of heart trouble.
She was born in Utica, N. Y., March 28, 1877, and came here from that city 50 years ago. Surviving are, her mother, Mrs. Mary Kalicka, and the following brothers and sisters: John Was, of South Bend; Sister M. Rita, of the Sisters of Nazareth, South Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Stanley J. Kalamaja of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Casimir J. Putz. of South Bend, and Mrs. Joseph Logan, of Kentucky.
The body may be viewed in the home of her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Genevieve Niezgodzka, 614 Laporte avenue.
The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning from St. Stanislaus' B. M. Roman Catholic church with Rev. Boleslaus J. Sztuczko. C. S. C, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
