William D. Rapp, 93, a resident of Livingston Manor, died at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 1992, at the home. He was born Aug. 3, 1890*, in Flanagan, a son of John and Anna (Boston) Rapp.

He is survived by 14 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rapp was preceded in death by eight brothers, two in infancy, and two sisters*.

He attended Pontiac schools and was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He also was a member of the Pontiac American Legion. Mr. Rapp was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Pontiac. He was engaged in farming his entire life in the Pontiac area.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, Pontiac. Reverend Craig Wagner of the First Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the First Lutheran Church.
