Carrol Isaacs
Carrol Isaacs, 59, of Unadilla died July 24, at Syracuse Community Hospital.
He was born Aug. 13, 1912 at Falls City, the son of Charles Walter and Ellen Louise (Purdy) Isaacs. He married Fern Taylor of Unadilla on Feb. 18, 1947.
His wife, two sons and a daughter survive him. The sons are Howard of Newton, Ia. and Glen of Unadilla. The daughter is DeeAnn Isaacs of Unadilla.
Also surviving are six brothers, Chester of Otoe; George and Floyd, both of Unadilla, Kenneth of Lincoln; Dean of Detroit; and John Cilfton of Dix, Nebr.
The deceased had lived in Unadilla 55 years after moving there from Lorton in the spring of 1917. He was a tank wagon salesman for Skelly Oil Co. and owner of Isaacs Laundromat in Unadilla.
He was a member of First Christian Church, Unadilla, where services will be held July 28, at 2 p.m. Rev. Herman Trapernicht will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Harry Schnidt, Darrell, John W., Steven and Leland Isaacs, and Harvey Wall. The organist will be Mrs. Allen Miesbach. A vocal duel will be sung by Mrs. Ronald Henry and Everett Baker.
The family suggests memorials to First Christian Church, Unadilla.
Internment will be in Unadilla Cemetery. Tonsing Fusselman Perry Funeral Home in charge.
