FLOYD T. ISAACS
Floyd T. Isaacs of Unadilla died Saturday at the Community Memorial Hospital. He was 74.
Isaacs was born May 12, 1906 at Brownsville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walter ( Ellen Louise Purdy) Isaacs. He moved to Unadilla as a small child.
On November 6, 1930, he married Iva Taylor in Nebraska City. His wife survived him. He was a retired farmer and then became a junk dealer. He was a member of the Christian Church of Unadilla.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Darrell and John both of Unadilla, two daughters, Mrs. Vern (Phyllis) Pickerell and Wretha Isaacs both of Unadilla. 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and two brothers, Chester of Otoe and Kenneth of Lincoln.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Tensing- Fusselman-Perry Funeral Home in Syracuse with the Rev. William Hudspeth officiating.
Burial will be in Unadilla Cemetery, Unadilla. Pallbearers will be Howard Isaacs, Leslie Isaacs, George Isaacs, Steve Isaacs, Leland Isaacs and Glen Isaacs.
Memorials are suggested to the Unadilla Christian Church.
