Services for retired farmer
Charles Isaacs, 83, of Otoe, who died Friday at Lancaster Manor in Lincoln, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Tonsing-Fusselman-Perry Funeral Home in Syracuse.
Isaacs, who lived in Otoe and Unadilla all of his life, was born February 6, 1901, in Brownville, the son of Charles and Ellen (Purdy) Isaacs.
He was married February 28, 1931, to Florence Harter in Plattsmouth.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Alma) Meyer, Eileen Isaacs and Edra Isaacs all of Syracuse; three sons, Verne Isaacs of Corvina, California, Dale and Joy Isaacs of Hickman, California; 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Unadilla Cemetery at Unadilla.
Tonsing-Fusselman-Perry Funeral Home of Syracuse is in charge of arrangements.
