Manz, wo er am Danksagungstage von einem Gehirnschlag betroffen wurde, Herr Heinrich Schmahl, ein Bekaannter Bevohner von Town Rhine, im Alter von 54 Jahren. Er hinterläßt die Gattin, geb. Reineck, und mehrere Kinder. Herr Louis Laun von Elkhart Lake, dem die Bestattung übertragen wurde, führte die Leiche am Dienstag nach sienem Heim über. Den Begräbnistag konnten wir nicht in Erfahrung bringen.
There are two translations for this obit.
1)On Monday evening, Henry Schmahl, age 54, a well known resident of the Town Rhine, died from cerebral apoplexy at the home of his son-in- law, Fred Manz. He leaves his wife {nee: Reineck} and many children. Louis Laun from Elkhart Lake will be handling the burial. The body will be shown at his home beginning on Thursday. The day of burial has yet to be announced.
2)Mr. Heinrich Schmahl, age 54 years, a well-known resident of Town Rhine, died on Monday evening at the house of his brother-in-law Fred. Manz, where he was affected on Thanksgiving Day by a stroke. He is survived by his wife, nee Reineck, and several children. Mr. Louis Laun of Elkhart Lake, which is taking care of the funeral, transferred the body on Tuesday to the home. We have not learned the date of the funeral.
Fred Manz was a brother-in-law. His wife was Johanna Sophia Schmahl Manz was a half-sister/first cousin of Heinrich. there mothers were sisters.
