Minnie was the daughter of Heinrich and Katharina Reineck Schmahl. Her mother's obit notes there were ten children.

Minnie Schmahl
Miss Minnie Schmahl, 85, a former Town of Rhine resident, died Monday night at Rocky Knoll where she had been for eight years.
Born July 17, 1889 in Rhine, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Katherine Reineck Schmahl. After her parents died she made her home with a brother, Fred, in Rhine and Glenbeulah.
She was a member of Community United Church of Christ, Elkhart Lake.
Only survivor is the brother, Fred of Kiel.
Two brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8p.m. at the Meiselwitz Funjal (sic..Funeral) Home, Kiel, the Rev. Robert Johnston, pastor of Community UCC, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Town of Rhine.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4p.m. Wednesday.
