Mrs. Frances Ratz, 66, widow of the late John A. Ratz, R. 3, Sheboygan, died at midnight Monday.

She was born in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late John and Katherine Beyer, Oct. 20, 1890. Her marriage to John Ratz was performed in Waukegan IL. They came to Sheboygan in 1929 to reside.

Mr. Ratz died Nov. 8, 1956. She was a member of St. Clement's Parish, its Holy Family and Altar societies, and the Eagles Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Katherine) Sundee, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Schmerling, Delavan WI and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Leo Gremminger and Mrs. Luc Disanto of Campbellsport, and Mrs. Ray Kluberton, Madison; seven brothers, Bert Beyer, Chicago, Gene, Alex, Ralph and Leo, Fond du Lac, Alfred, Watertown, and John, Sarasota FL. Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning with a requiem high mass at 10 at St. Clement's Church, preceded by brief rites at 9:30 at Gerend's Funeral Home. The Rev. John J. Carroll, pastor, will be the celebrant and burial will take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Wednesday afternoon at 2 until the hour of services. Members of the St. Clement's Holy Family Society and other parishioners will hold a vigil at the funeral home at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
