Fond du Lac Reporter, Mon. Mar. 4, 1991, p. 20:2. John H. Beyer, 88, formerly of 464 Martin Road, and most recently a resident of Sarasota FL and Franklin NC, died Sat. Mar. 2, 1991, at Doctor’s Hospital, Sarasota. He was born June 27, 1902, in Fond du Lac, a son of John B. and Katherine Theisen Beyer. On Aug. 18, 1922, he married Loretta Marie (Jean) Molleson. She preceded him in death on Feb. 18, 1952. On Jan. 8, 1955, he married Priscilla Worling Maguire. Mr. Beyer attended Fond du Lac schools and was a former member of St. Mary’s Church. He was owner of Beyer Wheel Aligning Company for 40 years. In 1952 he moved to Sarasota and was employed with the Sarasota School System. Surviviors include his wife; one son, David J. and his wife Sandra of Fond du Lac; four daughters, Constance L. Kramer and her husband Elden and Marcie Lee Schingen and her husband Gordon, both of Fond du Lac, Dolores Jean Roberts and her husband Ralph of Nekoosa and Mesa AZ, and Janet Ann Jurgensmeier and her husband Jerome of Sarasota FL, and West Jefferson NC; a stepdaughter, Cindy Maguire Dennis of Sautee GA; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Alfred A. of Luther Home, Marinette. Preceding him in death were his parents; eight brothers and six sisters. Cremation will take place. Private memorial services are pending.
