Fond du Lac Reporter, Fri. Apr. 12, 1985, p. 24:3. Friends of Ralph J. Beyer ,78, 58 21st St., may call Saturday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Candlish Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Paul G. Piotter officiating. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Beyer died Thurs. Apr. 11, 1985, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1906, in Fond du Lac, a son of John B. and Katharine Theisen Beyer. He married Selma A. Heller on Oct. 6, 1926, in Waukegan IL. He was a lifelong Fond du Lac resident. He was employed for 27 years as an assembler at Giddings & Lewis-Davis Division, retiring on Jan. 31, 1972. He was a member of the G&L Oldsters Club, East Central Wisconsin Rock and Mineral Club and the AARP. He was a retired member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge No. 1402. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Arlene) Crye of Belvidere IL; one grandson; three brothers, Alex of St. Petersburg FL, John of Sarasota FL, and Alfred of Appleton; and one sister, Mrs. Esther G. Gremminger of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers and five sisters.
