Sheboygan Press, Thurs. Sept. 29, 1955, p. 18:4. Mrs. Rose Mahner, 71, of 1122 N. 7th St., Sheboygan, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday following a long illness. She was born Apr. 28, 1884, at Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Catherine Theisen Beyer. On July 2, 1946, she married Carl Mahner and since that time has resided in Sheboygan. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Brinkman, Lomira; three grandchildren; eight brothers, Edward Beyer, Gross Point MI, Lambert Beyer, Chicago, Albred Beyer, Watertown, Alex, Leo, John, Eugene, and Ralph Beyer, all of Fond du Lac; four sisters, Mrs. Louis DeSanto and Mrs. Leo Gremminger, both of Campbellsport, Mrs. Ray Kluberton, Madison; and Mrs. Al Ratz, Sheboygan. The body will lie in state at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, after 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Saturday and at 10 a.m. at St. Mathew's Church, Campbellsport. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Peter E. Schwamb will officiate.

Sheboygan Press, Thurs. Oct. 6, 1955, p. 22:8, "Adell". Mr. and Mrs. Joe Corbett and Mr. and Mrs. Will King spent Friday evening in Campbellsport. While there they viewed the remains of Mrs. Carl Mahner at the Twohig Funeral Home there. Mrs. Mahner was the former Rose Beyer and was married to the late Tom Franey, Elmore. She was married to Carl Mahner, Sheboygan, on July 2, 1946, and has resided in Sheboygan since that time. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Brinkman; three grandchildren, Lomira; eight brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held at St. Mathew's Catholic Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Peter Schwamb officiated.
