Adolph Leider, 72, a retired carpenter, died after several months of illness Sunday at his home, 1615 S. 13th St., Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. L.H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Leider was born Nov. 27, 1893 in the Town of Liberty, son of the late Gottfried and Augusta Yolke Leider. He was a carpenter at Manitowoc for 26 years and retired from Bartelt Cork and Insulation Co. of Appleton in 1961.
Mr. Leider married the former Pauline Lindemann Feb. 24, 1916 in Manitowoc. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
Surviving are the wife, two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Edith) Mumpy and Mrs. Edward (Germaine) Wiegand, of Manitowoc; three brothers, Edward and Edwin of Manitowoc and Paul of Pigeon Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Schmidt of Manitowoc and Mrs. Alma Ribbeck of Plymouth.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, State Street entrance, Manitowoc, after 3 pm Tuesday and at the church from 12:30 noon Wednesday until the time of service.
