Belmont, MS~~ Bruce Elree Malone, 79, life expired on Saturday p.m August 07, 1999 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was born Sept. 27, 1919 in Colbert, Co., Ala., to Earnie and Lucy James Malone.
He married Sarah Ann Cornelius on Dec. 08, 1952.
He was retired from Blue Bell Inc., after 21 years of service, and a farmer. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army WW 2. Army Serial U.S. #34102883.
Services were on Monday Aug. 09th. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with R. C. Byram officiating. Burial was in the Malone Family plot in the Lindsey Cemetery in Dennis.
Survivors include his wife; Sarah Ann Malone, of 47 years, of Belmont, one daughter, Debbie Hastings of Belmont; one son, Eddie Malone of Belmont; two grandchildren Grant and Matthew Hastings of Belmont; six sisters, Geraldine Sartain and Lorene Haynie of Corinth, Clara Searcy, Deck Posey, Virgie Waddle and Rachel Bruton all of Belmont; two brothers, Preston Malone of Belmont, and Wayne "Sam" Malone of LaVergne, Tn.
A host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Virgle, Lumis and Reece Malone.
