Vester Wayne Malone
February 26, 1934 - February 20, 2017
Vester Wayne Malone, age 82 of La Vergne, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. He is the husband of Margaret Hill Malone and the son of the late Curtis and Dora James Malone.

Visitation will be 5PM – 8PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be at 2PM, Thursday at Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont, MS with an hour visitation prior to that. Burial will follow at Lindsay Cemetery.

Mr. Malone is also survived by two sons, Randall Malone. and his wife Danna of Murfreesboro, Richard Powers and his wife Page of Smyrna; a daughter, Emma Jean Johnson and her husband Mike of La Vergne; two sisters, Virgie Waddle and Rachel Bruton both of Belmont, MS, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Mr. Malone was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Ann Powers.
