Corinth, MS~~~ Minnie Lorene Malone Haynie, 86, life expired on December 19, 2007, at the Baptist Hospital in Oxford. Born Oct. 22, 1921, in Colbert, Co., Ala., to Earnie and Lucy James Malone, having lived in Belmont for several years before moving to Corinth.
She was retired employee of ITT Telecom in Corinth, and a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and putting puzzles together.

Survivors included one son, Mike Haynie and Patsy of Oxford, two brothers, Preston Malone of Belmont, and Wayne Malone (Sam) of Lavergne, Tn.; three sisters; Deck Posey, Wirgie Waddle,and Rachel Bruton, all of Belmont; 2 grand children, Jeannie Hodge and Jason of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Susan Morgan and Billy of Oxford; two geatgrandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Haynie in 1974, (of whom she married May 11, 1952), her parents; two sisters, Clara Searcy and Geraldine Sartain; four brothers, Virgle, Elree, Lumis and Reece Malone.

Services were held at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel in Corinth, with Bro. Charles Leonard officiating. Burial was in the Clear Creek Cemetery.
