Corinth, MS~~ Geraldine Blanch Malone Sartain, 88, life expired Tuesday morning, March 19, 2002 at the Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth. She was born Oct. 28, 1913 in Franklin, Co., Ala., to Earnie and Lucy James Malone.
She worked and own many restaurant in Corinth. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Services were Thursday March 21st. At the McPeters Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Rick Jones of Belmont, officiating. Burial was in the Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery near Corinth .

Married "Herman" Clyde Sartain on Oct. 27, 1935 in AL.
2 sons and 1 daughter was born to this union.

Survivors include two sons, Wyvil (Therese), of Ocean Springs, Tommye (Oleta), of Corinth, and Libbye Schrum and friend, Mike Hopkins of Corinth, Two brothers, Preston Malone of Belmont, and Wayne (Sam) of LaVergne, Tenn.
Five sisters, Clara Searcy of Dennis, Lorene Haynie, of Corinth, Deck Posey, Virgie Waddle, and Rachel Bruton, all of Belmont; four grandchildren, Janet Sartain of San Antonio, TX, Mark Sartain (Gidget), Phillip Sartain (Stephanie) both of Corinth, Brian Sartain (Sherry) Fernandina Beach, Fla., Two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Sartain, her parents, four brothers, and two grandsons.
