Mrs. Susan Exie Plaster Robinette, age 92, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Friday (March 16, 2012) at her home. Born November 27, 1919 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Mary Richardson Plaster. A lifelong resident of the area, she was of the Holiness Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Otis Robinette and Kenneth Robinette and wife, Emily all of Swords Creek, Virginia; seven daughters, Trudell Robinette of Bristol, Tennessee, Anniebell Peck and husband, Arnold and Kathleen Mitchell and husband, Kenny all of Honaker, Virginia, Doris Whited and husband, Bob, Barbara Whited and husband, Dallas, Dottie Miller and husband, Wayne all of Swords Creek, Virginia and Carrie Fletcher and husband, James "Red" of Belfast, Virginia; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren; one sister, Glaydes Robinette of Swords Creek, Virginia and one brother, Andy Plaster and wife, Myrtle of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; very special friends, Beverly Foleno, Ginger Robinette, Mozelle Horton, Edith Plaster and Ella Keen; special caregivers, Staff of Total Home Care and Hospice and Patricia Jackson and many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday with Rev. Dennis White, Rev. Ellis Whited and Rev. Jim Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Richardson Cemetery at Horton Ridge, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Robinette, Dustin Robinette, Eugene Whited, Keith Whited, Jamie Fletcher, Tyler Robinette and Tanner Robinette.
