Mrs. Rosaley Plaster Newberry, 92, of Richlands, passed away Friday, May 12, 2000, in a Richlands hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Russell County, she was the daughter of the late Mark D. and Mary Caroline Richardson Plaster, She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Newberry; one daughter, Bertha Newberry; one granddaughter, Mary McGhee; two sisters, Hazel Richardson and Bessie Plaster; five brothers, Charles Plaster, Henry Plaster, Cecil Plaster, Clarence Plaster and Kenneth Plaster.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Junior (Arbutus) McGhee of Richlands, Mrs. Arizona Morgan of Seaford, Dela., Mrs. Edwin (Leona) Campbell of Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Ellen Harman of Raven, Va.; one son, Dennis Newberry of Richlands; two sisters, Exie Robinette of Honaker, Va., and Gladys Robinette of Swords Creek, Va.; one brother, Andy Plaster of Claypool Hill, Va.; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va., with Rev. Carl Robinson and Rev. Otis Musick officiating. Burial will follow at the Newberry Family Cemetery at Horton Ridge. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family will received friends at the funeral home.
