Hazel Plaster Richardson, 78, of the Pine Creek section of Swords Creek, passed away Sunday, December 15, 1996, at Columbia Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, Va., following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Russell County, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary Richardson Plaster.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Richardson; two sons, Max Richardson and Oris Richardson; one daughter, Patsy Richardson; and five brothers and one sister.
She is survived by : one son, Jackie Richardson of Swords Creek; four daughters, Mrs. Herman (Orthie) Conley of Salem, Va., Mrs. Harold (Irene) Justice of Honaker, Va., and Miss Phyllis Richardson and Mrs. Bill (Carolyn) Dye, both of Swords Creek; one brother, Andrew (Andy) Plaster of Cedar Bluff; three sisters, Mrs. Saley Newberry of Richlands, Mrs. Exie Robinette of Honaker and Mrs. Gladys Robinette of Swords Creek; nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 19, 1996, at 1 p.m. at the Pine Creek Holiness Church with Rev. Jim Richardson and Rev. Carl Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery on Pine Creek.
Friends will serve as casket bearers.
