Norbert Geiser

Norbert Geiser, 90, of 533 E. Calumet St., Chilton, died on Tuesday, June 15, 2000 at Beverly Health Care Center in Chilton.

He was born on April 10, 1910 in the town of Charlestown, son of Martin and Magdalena (Gruber) Geiser.

He farmed all of his life in the town of Charlestown until 1970 when he then worked for the Chilton Co-op until his retirement. Norbert was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Charlestown, 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus, Chilton Council, a 75-years member of the Catholic Knights, and a member of the Chilton Eagles #1288.

Survivors include 11 brothers and sisters, Art Geiser, Chilton; Alvin (Marie) Geiser, Chilton; Loretta (Reuben) Keuler, Chilton; Arnold (Marcella ) Geiser, Chilton; Alice Geiser, Chilton; Viola (Paul) Kees, Hilbert; Leona Schneider, Chilton; Evelyn (Donald) Konen, Chilton; Gerald Geiser, Hilbert; Roger (Lois) Geiser, Chilton; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held June 18 at St. Martin Catholic Church. The Rev. Gary New officiated. Entombment was in the Knollwood Mausoleum. Wieting Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
