Sister of Maurice, Newton, Eunice (Meadows), Ora (Dowdy), Robert, Samuel, Flossie (Woolridge), Mary, Hallie (Swinson), Walter and Bill Hubbard.

First Wife of Raymond Petitjean, Second wife of Jess Young.

Mother of Debbie and Todd.

Lois was an executive secretary with Reynolds Metals Company and served as Entertainment Chairman of The Employees Association for many years. She was a born organizer and very competitive individual. She was an avid Bridge player, tournament bowler and a challenging and competitive golfer. She was a member of Richmond Country Club and served as Tournament Chairman for the Richmond Women's Golf Association. Lois was a lady of many talents and extremely competitive in everything she undertook. She served as coordinator of the Reynolds Senior Bridge club for many years. Lois also served as President and Vice President of Summerhill Townhouse Association. She loved poetry and composed many poems in remembrance of family members and friends.
Graveside service to held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Westhampton Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Celebration to commence at Dominion Club at 12:30.

Death is a journey we all must take,
But one we must make alone
A journey not into darkness,
But into the Light of our Eternal home.

When God looked down on Billy,
He saw his weakened frame,
So with gracious arms around him,
He whispered, “Come, I will ease your pain.”

Billy was my youngest brother.
So I am not prepared to say farewell.
I always felt God would call for me
Before He chose a plot for him to dwell.

I stood beside him when he was lonely
And beside me, he would always walk.
And I was always willing to listen
Whenever he wanted to talk.

My heart aches with grief and pain
Longing to just speak with Billy again.
Yet with joy and laughter, sorrow and tears
I’ll remember him for the rest of my years.

I’ll hear him knocking on my door,
And wish for our carefree laughs once more.
I’ll miss those good times, though often rare
That showed love only a brother and sister could share.

In life, I loved him dearly.
In death, I love him still.
In my heart, he holds a special place
No one else could ever fill.

I know he’s loosed the bonds of life
Soaring in Heaven where only God reigns.
And I know God will take care of Billy
As he waits for us to meet again.
