Mrs. Irene Youtsey, age 79y 04m 20d, died Monday, 28 Aug 1972, in Clarksville (Tennessee) Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Youtsey was born in Darke County, Ohio on 08 Apr 1893, daughter of the late John Allen and Mary Scelinda Shappy Gunckel. She had lived in Stewart County for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Youtsey; three brothers, Harold Gunckel, Earl Gunckel, and Jennings Gunckel, all of Greenville, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Edith Tuttle, Mrs. Leotina Byers, Mrs. Geraldine Baumgardner, all of Greenville, Ohio, Mrs. Vesta Cunningham of Rossburg, Ohio, and Mrs. Delsia Smith of Dayton, Ohio.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, 31 Aug 1972, at Milligan Funeral Home by Earl Claude. Burial was in the Hamm Cemetery in Stewart County, Tennessee.
