Gertrude A. Strassman, 78, of 715 S. Lincoln Drive, Howards Grove, died Tuesday morning, August 15, 1989 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton, shortly after admittance. Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. Rev. Raymond Coombs will officiate and burial will be in Union Cemetery, Two of Schleswig.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Dolores (James) Miller of Howards Grove, Mrs. Carol (Gene) Schmidt of Saukville and Mrs. Sandy (Robert) Schmitz of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. Eldora (Norman) Gutschow of Kiel, Mrs. Evelyn (Raymond) Hass of New Holstein and Mrs. Luetta Wollersheim
of Franklin; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, 4 pm to 8 pm Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 11 am and then at the church from noon until the time of services. A memorial has been established for St. Peter United Church of Christ Building Fund.
