Esther Mae Cook, daughter of Andrew Brock Cook and Isabelle Kinney Cook, passed away at her home in Chariton, IA, at the age of 65 yrs., 4 months, and nine days, after a long illness.
She was united in marriage to Arthur Edgerton, April 26, 1916, and to this union were born five sons and two daughters.
Mrs. Edgerton was a member of the Assembly of God Church for 21 years; she was a faithful worker in the church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur, and sons: Harold of Woodburn, Harold of Iowa City, Lloyd of Lamoni, Dwight of Oquawka, ILL; two daughters: Evelyn Nitchman of Santa Monica, California, and Dorothy Howard of Ottumwa; six brothers, one sister, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Also nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God Church on Sunday, October 1, officated by the Rev. G. A. Cornell. Interment was in the Bethel Chapel Cemetery in Clarke County.
