LUCAS NEWS
David Cook, who at one time was a resident of Lucas for many years, but for the past several years had been employed at Osceola, was stricken with a stroke and died at the S.U.I. hospital at Iowa City on April 24, 1951.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Beardsley funeral home, conducted by the Rev. A. E. Beals, of Russell. Burial was at the Fry Hill cemetery.
