Harriet Louise Brunts was the daughter of John Brunts, Sr. and his first wife Bathsheba from Kentucky who migrated out of Kentucky into early Howard Co. MO by 1822. Later John Brunts moved to Platte Co. MO where he died Feb 15, 1859.. In his first marriage they had12 children, 11 daughters and 1 son. His first wife died. John Brunts Sr remarried 11 Dec 1849 in Howard Co. MO Mary Jane Heath with whom he had an additional 4 children. Harriet's father John Brunts died Feb 15, 1859 in Platte Co. MO. I have his Last Will and Testament, probate, etc. In the Will he left everything to the 2nd marriage wife and children but named each of the 12 children from the first marriage and indicated he had 'settled each of them with fair portion' as they married, including Harriet.

Harriet married Isaac Jesse Eads b. 1823 Cole Co MO and the couple left Missouri.
